18th EDITION! Sunday, June 15th, 2025 →

Welcome to the unmissable SQUAMATA Expo 2025!

Born in 2006, the SQUAMATA trade show is a point of reference in Italy for the world of terraristics, a meeting organized by enthusiasts of terraristics and aquariology, a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the fascinating world of exotic animals: snakes, lizards, turtles, geckos, amphibians, insects, arachnids, scorpions, phasmids... and find everything you need for their care, thanks to the presence of the best Italian and European exhibitors.

Our mission has always been to share the passion for herpetology, bringing even beginners and "non-experts" closer to this world with awareness and information, actively contributing to the growth of terraristics and the knowledge of native herpetofauna.

SQUAMATA is much more than a fair: it is a meeting place to exchange experiences, receive advice and find animals, equipment and industry news in a welcoming and friendly environment.

Easily reachable: Ozzano dell'Emilia is just outside Bologna, which makes the event easily accessible from all over Italy, thanks to the network of motorways and railways that serve Bologna itself.

We have chosen a single day for SQUAMATA primarily for the welfare of the animals and to allow exhibitors and visitors to make the most of their time.

**What will you find at SQUAMATA 2025?**

  • Reptiles: colubrids, boas, pythons, geckos, chameleons, lizards, turtles, tortoises...;
  • Amphibians: frogs, tree frogs, toads, newts, salamanders...
  • Phasmids, Insects and Arachnids: leaf insects, stick insects, praying mantises, beetles, butterflies and moths, orthopterans, spiders, tarantulas, scorpions...
